Take a Virtual Tour of Austin's Ronald McDonald House

Welcome to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin and Central Texas (RMHC-ACT). Due to our generous community of donors and the never-ending support we receive from our volunteers, we are able to operate a 30 bedroom Ronald McDonald House, 150 yards from the Dell Children’s Medical Center in Central Austin, and a Ronald McDonald Family Room located inside the St. David’s North Austin Medical Center. These two facilities would not run without the help of willing volunteers, community organizations, corporate donations and the funds we receive from our special events.

Our purpose in all of this is to provide lodging and support services to families with critically ill or injured children within the 46 counties surrounding Austin. Meet the Zavaleta family! David-Sanchez and Paola were able to stay at our house after an unexpected turn of events during a recent shopping excursion to the San Marcos Outlets. The Zavaleta’s were visiting Central Texas from their home in Mexico City when their twin girls, Valentina and Natalia, came 8 weeks early. The girls were delivered at St. David’s Hospital in Austin and were able to stay at our house before they returned to Mexico City. To watch their story, click on the video below.
