Bandana Ball 2009
The 20th Anniversary Bandana Ball has been our best yet. Led by Jane Ellen and Steve Sanders, this year’s committee created a festive, entertaining and profitable event. Raising $387,000 in support of the families we serve, this year’s Ball featured live auction items to South Africa and the Ellen DeGeneres Show along with trips to the coast, new living room furniture and a host of other great packages.
Russell Korman donated this year’s raffle item of one-carat diamond earrings. Bringing the night into focus was the premier of our new family video with a wrap up by Sierra Royal – one of the children featured in the video. Following the video, everyone at the Ball raised $40,000 for our Sponsor a Family program.
Topping off the night were The Spazmatics who kept the dance floor hopping for almost two hours. Our sincere thanks to all our sponsors, auction donors, attendees and volunteers for making Bandana Ball 2009 our very best!
