Our MissionThe Ronald McDonald House Leadership Council is a nonprofit organization comprised of young men and women who are committed to providing volunteer services which better the lives of children and their families in Austin and Central Texas. The mission of the Ronald McDonald House is to provide a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals. Our organization is focused on supporting this mission by creating goodwill and promoting awareness in the community. The Ronald McDonald House Leadership Council will provide four annual volunteer service opportunities for you to support the House. Depending on the service, most volunteer activities will consist of one shift lasting 2-3 hours. As a general outline, the four events will include the following: Opening Day Activities of the New Ronald McDonald House - November 2007 As a member of the Council, our focus is to provide support services in conjunction with the House for families with critically ill or injured children. In addition to the volunteer commitment, each member is asked to give an annual gift of $100 to the House. This gift is 100% tax deductible and will support the completion of the New Ronald McDonald House. To join the leadership council, please fill out the pledge form and return it to the House. You will receive a welcome letter and invitation to our next upcoming event. We're excited and look forward to seeing you! |
