Other Fundraisers Benefiting RMHC Austin

Each event below is a creative way for your to help our moms, dads and children now.  Take a minute to see what event you can attend or support knowing that you are helping change a family's life.

• RMHC Day of Change - September 9 - Your small change makes a big difference.

  Gather up your spare change from the sofa, your piggy banks, your drawers and all the places it's hiding, and take it to your nearby McDonald's. Drop your change in the donation box, and make a difference for families! In 2009 alone, RMHC Austin received over $65,000 in donations from McDonald's donation boxes. Spread the word!

• Board of Directors member Rob Cunningham is swimming & biking for families!  Goal: $1000 for RMHC Austin.

  On September 2nd  Rob and a group of friends will swim Lake Austin from the 360 bridge to Tom Miller Dam (4.1 miles). Then in October Rob will ride his bike from Dallas to Austin (200 miles) to raise money and awareness for four Central Texas nonprofits, including Ronald McDonald House Charities.

• Newspaper Sales in McDonald's - Ongoing
  

  A portion of all proceeds from the sale of newspapers in local McDonald's restaurants comes to RMHC Austin.
  

• Donation Boxes in McDonald's - Ongoing
  

  When you put your change in the donation boxes at any local McDonald's restaurant, that money comes directly to RMHC Austin.
  

• Randalls Good Neighbor Program  - Our Good Neighbor number is 5979

  Do you shop at Randalls? Link the RMHC Austin Good Neighbor number: 5979 to your Remarkable Card, and 1% of all your purchases will be donated to RMHC Austin. It's not a lot of money, but it all adds up!
