Dillard’s Raises Over $30K for RMHC Austin 

This Marks the 18th Year of Partnership to Benefit Area Families

AUSTIN, Texas – (February 9, 2012) – Dillard’s had another successful holiday fundraising campaign, donating $30,819 to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin and Central Texas. All proceeds of local Dillard’s stores’ Southern Living Ultimate Christmas Cookbook were given to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin. 

Debbie DuBois, store manager, presented the donation to Ann Jerome, COO of RMHC Austin.  This winter marked the 18th year of Dillard’s partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities.  Nationally, $1.7 million was donated in 2011, and over $7.6 million has been donated to Ronald McDonald Houses since 1994.

Ronald McDonald House Charities of Austin and Central Texas provides a home away from home for families whose children are facing serious medical crisis.

Austin’s two Ronald McDonald Family Rooms are places of rest and support within the walls of the hospitals for families with hospitalized children.
